How to Use the Bakery QR Suite

Bakery QR codes earn their keep when they remove waiting: customers see the menu instantly, order ahead, and collect loyalty credit without a paper stamp card. Build one code per job, then place each where its moment happens.

Place each code where its moment happens

The menu code belongs at the counter and in the window, the order-ahead code on flyers and receipts, and the daily-special code on the chalkboard or door. A code in the wrong place gets ignored, however good it is.

Keep destinations under your control

Point printed codes at URLs you control, such as short redirects, so you can swap the destination without reprinting. A menu that moves to a new platform should not orphan every printed card.

Test before you print

Print a sample at the real size, scan it on two different phones in real shop lighting, and confirm the whole journey works, from scan to order. Keep the quiet zone clear and use dark modules on a light background.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the daily-special code contain?

The menu URL plus the special and its price as link parameters, so the page can highlight today’s special. If the page does not read those parameters, the code still opens the menu.

What does the loyalty code contain?

Plain text with the loyalty program name and the card number, so staff can identify the card from a scan without any special app.

Can I change the destination without reprinting the codes?

Yes, if the code points to a URL you control. Update the page behind it and every printed code shows the new content. If the code points to a page you do not control, a change there can break your printed cards.

Will these QR codes work on iPhone and Android?

Yes, in nearly all cases. Modern iPhone and Android cameras read QR codes natively. Test on both platforms before a large print run, keep the quiet zone clear, and use dark modules on a light background with strong contrast.
