How to Use the Boutique QR Suite

Boutique QR codes earn their keep when they extend the shopping experience: the lookbook travels home with the shopper, new arrivals reach regulars first, appointments book without a phone call, and the return policy is one scan away at the moment of decision. Build one code per job, then place each where its moment happens.

Place each code where its moment happens

The lookbook code belongs in the window and on bags, new arrivals on the door and social cards, appointments at the till and in the fitting area, and the return policy at the till. A code in the wrong place gets ignored, however good it is.

Keep destinations under your control

Point printed codes at URLs you control, such as short redirects, so you can swap the destination without reprinting. A lookbook that moves to a new host should not orphan every printed card.

Test before you print

Print a sample at the real size, scan it on two different phones in real shop lighting, and confirm the whole journey works, from scan to appointment. Keep the quiet zone clear and use dark modules on a light background.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the appointment code contain?

The appointment page URL plus the stylist name as a link parameter, so the page can pre-select that stylist when it supports it. If it does not, the code still opens the appointment page.

Why put the return policy on a QR code?

Shoppers decide with more confidence when the policy is one scan away, and staff answer fewer repeat questions. The code should open the current policy page, not a printed summary that goes stale.

Can I change the destination without reprinting the codes?

Yes, if the code points to a URL you control. Update the page behind it and every printed code shows the new content. If the code points to a page you do not control, a change there can break your printed cards.

Will these QR codes work on iPhone and Android?

Yes, in nearly all cases. Modern iPhone and Android cameras read QR codes natively. Test on both platforms before a large print run, keep the quiet zone clear, and use dark modules on a light background with strong contrast.
