Check-In Codes for the Door

A check-in code carries the attendee, the event, the session, and the ticket reference in one scannable block. At the door, scanning it confirms the person, the event, and the session in one action — no searching a guest list by name, no typing a ticket number from a crumpled printout.

One code per attendee per session

If an attendee is booked for two sessions, give them two codes — one per session. A single code scanned twice cannot tell you which session the person entered. The batch layout makes this easy: one row per attendee per session, and the label carries the ticket reference so door staff can match a code to a person at a glance.

Before you send the batch

  • Scan a sample code and confirm the attendee, event, and session read correctly.
  • Check every ticket reference is unique — duplicates let one ticket check in twice.
  • Send each attendee only their own code, not the whole batch.
  • Keep the source list with the event file so check-ins can be reconciled afterwards.

Frequently Asked Questions

What format do the rows need?

One row per line, comma-separated, or with the | separator. The first row is treated as a header and skipped when it looks like a header row. Rows that are missing a required field are reported and skipped without blocking the valid rows.

Can I use a spreadsheet?

Yes. Export the sheet as CSV, then paste the CSV text here. Keep one record per row and keep the column order shown above the input.

How many rows can I generate at once?

Up to 500 rows per batch. Split larger lists into multiple batches and label each ZIP.

Does my data leave my browser?

No. Every QR code is generated locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
