How to Use Bulk Loyalty Card QR Codes
Loyalty cards work when they are effortless at the till: the customer shows a code, staff scan it, and the visit is recorded. Printing one code per customer from a single CSV keeps every card consistent, and because each code carries its own card number, there is no confusion about whose visit was just logged.
Keep card numbers stable
A card number is the link between the printed code and the customer record. Assign each customer one number and never reuse a number after a card is replaced, or two customers can end up sharing a history. If a card is lost, issue a new number and retire the old one rather than reprinting the same code.
Print and test before the batch goes out
Print a sample card at the real size and scan it at the till in normal shop lighting, then confirm the scanned text matches the customer record. Keep the quiet zone clear, use dark modules on a light background, and replace cards that get creased or faded.
