Per-Parcel Codes That Staff Can Scan

A shipping label code carries the tracking number plus the details a handler needs: carrier, recipient, address, and order reference. Scanning it at each handover confirms the parcel in front of you is the parcel on the list, without typing a long tracking number from a smudged label.

What the code should and should not carry

Keep the payload to what handlers need: tracking number, carrier, order reference, and the recipient name. Full addresses help couriers but also expose personal data if a label is photographed — if the label is customer-facing, prefer the tracking number and order reference and keep the address in your system.

Before you print the batch

  • Scan a sample label and confirm the tracking number reads correctly.
  • Check every tracking number is unique — duplicates send two parcels to one record.
  • Print the tracking number in plain text under the code as a fallback.
  • Match the batch to the dispatch list before the courier collects.

Frequently Asked Questions

What format do the rows need?

One row per line, comma-separated, or with the | separator. The first row is treated as a header and skipped when it looks like a header row. Rows that are missing a required field are reported and skipped without blocking the valid rows.

Can I use a spreadsheet?

Yes. Export the sheet as CSV, then paste the CSV text here. Keep one record per row and keep the column order shown above the input.

How many rows can I generate at once?

Up to 500 rows per batch. Split larger lists into multiple batches and label each ZIP.

Does my data leave my browser?

No. Every QR code is generated locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
