How to Use the Car Wash QR Suite

Car wash QR codes earn their keep when they remove queues and guesswork: drivers pick a wash before they reach the till, members prove membership with one scan, feedback arrives tied to a real receipt, and first-time visitors find the site without circling. Build one code per job, then place each where its moment happens.

Place each code where its moment happens

The wash menu code belongs at the entrance and on the price board, membership on the member card, feedback on the receipt, and location on flyers and ads. A code in the wrong place gets ignored, however good it is.

Keep destinations under your control

Point printed codes at URLs you control, such as short redirects, so you can swap the destination without reprinting. A feedback form that moves should not orphan every printed receipt.

Test before you print

Print a sample at the real size, scan it on two different phones in bright outdoor light, and confirm the whole journey works, from scan to feedback. Keep the quiet zone clear and use dark modules on a light background.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the membership code contain?

Plain text with the membership plan and the member number, so staff can identify the membership from a scan without any special app.

What does the feedback code contain?

The feedback form URL plus the receipt number as a link parameter, so feedback arrives tied to a specific wash. The customer still submits the form on the page itself.

Can I change the destination without reprinting the codes?

Yes, if the code points to a URL you control. Update the page behind it and every printed code shows the new content. If the code points to a page you do not control, a change there can break your printed cards.

Will these QR codes work on iPhone and Android?

Yes, in nearly all cases. Modern iPhone and Android cameras read QR codes natively. Test on both platforms before a large print run, keep the quiet zone clear, and use dark modules on a light background with strong contrast.
