How to Use the Spa QR Suite

Spa QR codes earn their keep when they remove friction and keep the calm: guests browse treatments without queuing, book without calling, give gift cards that scan at the till, and take aftercare home in their pocket. Build one code per job, then place each where its moment happens.

Place each code where its moment happens

The treatment menu belongs at reception and in the waiting area, booking on the website and cards, gift cards on the card itself, and aftercare on the take-home sheet. A code in the wrong place gets ignored, however good it is.

Keep aftercare short and checkable

Aftercare text must be readable at a glance. Keep it to the essentials, put the phone number at the end, and have a therapist review the wording before it is printed, because a printed instruction is hard to take back.

Test before you print

Print a sample at the real size, scan it on two different phones in real reception lighting, and confirm the whole journey works, from scan to booking. Keep the quiet zone clear and use dark modules on a light background.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the gift-card code contain?

Plain text with the gift card code and its value, so staff can identify the card from a scan without any special app. Record each redemption, since a code nobody validates at the till can be reused.

What does the aftercare code contain?

Plain text with the treatment, the aftercare instructions and the spa phone number, so a guest can read the guidance at home without needing any special app.

Can I change the destination without reprinting the codes?

Yes, if the code points to a URL you control. Update the page behind it and every printed code shows the new content. If the code points to a page you do not control, a change there can break your printed cards.

Will these QR codes work on iPhone and Android?

Yes, in nearly all cases. Modern iPhone and Android cameras read QR codes natively. Test on both platforms before a large print run, keep the quiet zone clear, and use dark modules on a light background with strong contrast.
