How to Use the Vet QR Suite
Vet QR codes earn their keep when they remove admin and panic: owners book without calling, staff pull the right record from one scan, aftercare goes home in the owner’s pocket, and the emergency number is one scan away when minutes matter. Build one code per job, then place each where its moment happens.
Place each code where its moment happens
The appointment code belongs on the website and cards, pet record on the patient file, aftercare on the take-home sheet, and emergency contact on the fridge magnet, the discharge sheet and the website. A code in the wrong place gets ignored, however good it is.
Keep aftercare short and checkable
Aftercare text must be readable at a glance. Keep it to the essentials, put the phone number at the end, and have a clinician review the wording before it is printed, because a printed instruction is hard to take back.
Test before you print
Print a sample at the real size, scan it on two different phones in real reception lighting, and confirm the whole journey works, from scan to appointment. Keep the quiet zone clear and use dark modules on a light background.
